Open Positions

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice nurse that directs all aspects of patient care. Nurse practitioners assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute episodic and chronic illnesses. Nurse practitioners are experts in health promotion and disease prevention. They order, conduct, supervise, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacologic therapies, as well as teach and counsel patients, among other obligations. As licensed, independent clinicians, Nurse Practitioners practice autonomously and in coordination with healthcare professionals and other individuals. At Southern Arizona Urgent Care the Nurse Practitioner will lead the way in providing efficient and effective response times to our patient’s needs. Exceptional customer service will be the standard with each patient encounter. The Nurse Practitioner will support the company’s goals, objectives and philosophy.

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) will be responsible for assisting the Providers of Southern Arizona Urgent Care with the diagnostic digital x-ray imaging process to allow for quick and vital diagnosing of the patient. The RT ensures the highest quality images are obtained for each patient and must be able to effectively explain the type of study ordered by the Provider to the patient. In addition, the Radiologic Technologist is instrumental in maintaining the flow of the clinic, and must be an expert in handling all of the front desk duties, understanding the inventory management system, know how to expertly triage patients, and be able to assist the team by helping run or record labs. The RT will consistently work with his/her team to ensure each patient who walks through our doors has the ultimate SAUC experience.

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides medical, technical, and clerical patient care services under the supervision of the nurse practitioner. The MA will assist in examination and treatment of patients, under the direction of a provider. May be required to draw and collect blood samples, perform injections, IV placement, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Will prepare exam rooms for patients and inform patients of treatment plans. The MA will adhere to professional standards, policies and procedures while offering each patient the best SAUC experience possible to patients.
