We care about you. Our qualified providers and staff want you to get better. We’re trained to diagnose your illness or injury, and we know how to listen to you. We promise not to keep you long, but we won’t rush you through the process. We care about your time, and we’ll give you ours.
We care about your treatment. We use the most advanced equipment to help us diagnose and treat you. We’re invested in keeping you healthy so we offer a holistic approach to your care by adding adjunctive therapies that boost your immune system and foster healthy GI flora. We also have the ability to dispense all the medications you might need to get you better for your convenience at a very reasonable price. We are also dedicated to advancing medicine through clinical trials in hopes of bringing about new standards of efficient, cost conscious and responsible healthcare.
We care about your comfort. We know what it’s like to feel bad or to be hurting. We want you to feel better the minute you get here. We’ve designed our locations for that. Clean, comfortable sofas. Large images of landscapes (because nature contributes to well-being). Drinking water & coffee. A UV-filtered air system throughout the clinic to keep you breathing clean. And, yep, a big TV to keep you entertained.
We care about your community. We’re independently owned and locally operated without any hospital affiliations and we support many community endeavors and events. We believe healthy people deserve a healthy community.
We offer care for urgent situations such as injuries, illnesses, and infections; for overall wellness such as annual physicals and flu shots; and for workplace health and compensation.
All of our facilities have point-of-care laboratories with the latest testing equipment and digital radiology. We value your time and give you comfort, care, diagnoses, common lab work, and x-ray results before you walk out the door. And our in-house medication dispensary means you don’t have to go anywhere else.
If you believe your life is in danger, call 911 and go to the nearest Emergency Room (ER). For everything else, we are here! We can care for you faster, cheaper, and better than the ER. Not sure? See Urgent Care vs. the Emergency Room to help.
We’re ready to help you feel better at our state-of-the-art, comfortable locations throughout Tucson and Oro Valley. We’re here seven days a week from 7AM to 7PM. Find the closest one to you with the shortest wait.
Treatment and examination costs vary depending upon whether or not you have insurance and if you do, on which plan you have. A visit to SAUC will typically cost you one-tenth of what it would cost at the ER. We accept most major health insurance plans including Medicare, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, Tricare, and several Medicaid plans. And if you don’t have health insurance, we offer affordable fee-for-service/self-pay rates. We want you to feel better, and fast.
If you have health insurance, you will be responsible for your co-pay up front. We then file a claim with your insurance provider. Depending upon your insurance plan, your visit will be covered entirely or you’ll be billed for the remaining balance. If you are visiting without insurance, our fee-for-service option asks you to pay an evaluation and management fee up front and the remaining balance after your treatment is complete before you leave the center. You can pay online through our secure and confidential patient portal system. Be sure to bring a valid form of identification as well as your insurance card when you visit. SAUC accepts most major credit cards, and cash.
Flu season runs October to May with most cases occurring between late December and early March. We offer walk-in flu shots in all of our Tucson urgent care locations throughout the entire flu season and beyond–from September through mid-November of the following year, as our supplies last. Getting vaccinated as early as possible gives the body a better chance to build up immunity to the virus. Avoid the flu and all its ugly symptoms and come see us!
