We care about you and we care about where we live.

As the only locally owned urgent care company in Tucson and we’re committed to serving our community.

We joined Local First Arizona because we believe strong and healthy local businesses make for strong and healthy communities and economies.

Local First Arizona celebrates independent, locally owned businesses, supporting, promoting, and advocating for strong local business community and informing the public about the economic and cultural benefits of strong local economies.

Celebrating the local comes naturally to us.

The vision for Southern Arizona Urgent Care came to our CEO and founder, Dr. David Skinner, while he was a student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He wanted to make a difference for patients in the community by creating a more convenient and accessible care option. When he completed his internship, he transitioned out of inpatient health care to expand his unique urgent care model to all of Tucson.

We now run eight urgent care clinics throughout Tucson and Oro Valley. And our newest location—opening January 2019—is right across the street from the University of Arizona football stadium in Sam Hughes Plaza.

When we say we want you to feel better the minute you walk in the door, we mean it.

We’ve designed our urgent care locations with your comfort and care in mind. And we offer in-house labs, meds, x-rays when you need them–so there’s no need to go anywhere else. From clean, comfortable seating to bottled water and coffee to a UV-filtered air system to keep you breathing clean and even big TV to keep you entertained.

All that, plus walls full of stunning images of natural landscapes, mostly from the Sonoran Desert. We know that time in nature is one of the best ways to feel good. And we really do love it here, too.

We believe in good health, resilience, and diversity and we’re thrilled to join a network of 3,000 locally owned business across the state with Local First Arizona to help support that in our home community.
