The cost of any treatment or examination at Southern Arizona Urgent Care varies depending upon whether you have insurance or not, and the details of your insurance plan, deductible and co-pay. A visit to our urgent care centers will typically cost you 1/10th of the very same visit to an emergency room. We accept most major health insurance plans including Medicare, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, Tricare, and several Medicaid plans. Even if you do not have health insurance, we strive to provide the best care possible and offer affordable fee-for- service/self-pay rates to all of our patients.

If you have health insurance, you will be responsible for your co-pay up front. We will then file a claim with your insurance provider and depending upon your insurance plan, either your visit will be covered entirely or we will mail you a bill for the remaining balance. If you are visiting without insurance, our fee-for-service option allows you to pay an evaluation and management visit fee up front and the remaining balance can be taken care of before leaving the facility after your treatment is complete. You can pay through our secure and confidential patient portal system. Be sure to bring a valid form of identification as well as your insurance card when you visit. SAUC accepts most major credit cards, and cash.

Flu season runs from October to May with most cases occurring between late December to early March, however, we offer the flu vaccine from September through mid-November the next year, as our supplies last. SAUC offers walk-in flu shots in all of our Tucson urgent care centers. We provide flu shots throughout the entire flu season and beyond, because getting vaccinated as early as possible gives the body a better chance to build up immunity to the virus. If you want to avoid the flu and all of the symptoms that come along with it, we will see you soon at SAUC!
